1. Describe the process of how laws are made (the legislative process, how a bill becomes a law)
2. Identify your MI State legislators, not your federal legislators, from the state house of representatives and the State Senate based on your home address.
3. What legislative district do you live in
4. Most legislators have a web site that tells you about their history and background and what issues they support. Go to this website and read about your legislator. What committees are they on and/or what recent legislation have they sponsored. Put a paragraph in your paper about your legislator and their accomplishments.
