At times, an employee may claim he or she was terminated unjustly and attempt to litigate the termination. Research a case of wrongful termination, where an employee sued a former employer for unjust/unfair termination. Give a brief review of the case, and then discuss what the employer, and the employee, could have done differently to avoid this litigation. Finally, discuss how best to terminate an employee for cause without leading to possible litigation.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
