Articulate an innovative invention for (i) a woman, (ii) a child, or (iii) a newly arrived immigrant from the early 1900s that you believe helped change their mindset from traditional 1800s beliefs to 1900s Modernism.
How does that attitude fall in line with the characteristics of Modernism, and would those attitudes have been possible in an age before Modernism?
Discuss any of the following events and articulate how they were part of that hammer that chipped away at traditionalist ideas and helped pave the way for Modernism and, also discuss the differences between your personal values and those of the social norm.
