Discuss the SARA model of problem-oriented policing as articulated by Spelman and Eck (1987). This week we learned about the 3-i model of intelligence-led policing as articulated by Ratcliffe (2008). Please refresh your memory on the SARA model by browsing the past readings. For this discussion, I would like you to tell me (i) how the SARA model is different from the 3-i model and (ii) how they are similar. I would then like you to compare and contrast the two policing philosophies themselves. How are the activities, strategies, and tactics different? How are they similar?
