How are language and community related? What role does language play in the bringing together of people? How does language separate groups?

Talk about how language is used in some of the communities you are part of and how language plays a role in everyday interactions in those communities. As best as you can, address how language bring the group together and distinguishes it from other groups. Also, talk about what language means to your communities.
