Problem
The Albany Plan is historically significant because
i. It demonstrated how little authority the British government could assert over the colonies.
ii. It showed how arbitrary the British government could be when it punished New York, but not Massachusetts, for overthrowing the Dominion of New England.
iii. It tells us how jealous individual colonies were of their own autonomy when they proved unable to coordinate in the face of hostile French and Native American forces.
