Problem: Human trafficking (HT) is considered a public health issue according to Mason et al. (2021). Victims of HT are at risk for numerous medical and psychological disorders. How can Advanced practice nurses assist in identifying patients who are victims of HT? What policies and procedures have been put in place to assist victims of HT in the United States? Can you make any suggestions for reform or improvement of these policies?
