How about lawsuits and trials where sides have roughly equal

Problem

The U.S. legal system generally requires that each party to a civil dispute be responsible for its own legal fees. In England the loser pays the winner's legal fees as well as its own. Do you expect to see more lawsuits and trials that are long shots for the plaintiff in the United States or England? How about lawsuits and trials where the sides have roughly equal probabilities of prevailing? (Remember that in both countries the parties have an option to reach a settlement rather than going to trial.)

The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
