How a persons environment affect their thoughts

Problem:

Hello Class,

The Person in Environment perspective highlights how a person's environment affect their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as well as how the person affect the environment that they're in (Pierce & Black, 2024). A person's environment can include not only their physical location but the community, their family and friends, and their experiences. An example of how these experiences and environments can impact an individual is when thinking about Post Traumatic Stress disorder. This condition shows us how a singular or multiple experiences can influence an individual's feelings of safety, their thinking patterns, and their relationships (Pierce & Black, 2024). There are also an individual's characteristics that can influence how they respond and act in their environments. The factors of our identities such as religion, race, gender, adn ethnicity can influence our decision making and create disparities in our lives and our opportunities. Systemic racism and oppression can contribute to increased stress and feelings of inequality, it can also be connected to a lack of available resources and deficits within environmental opportunities (Hutchison & Wood, 2024). We can see how understand the person in environment perspective can create connections that we may have otherwise not noticed and been able to address. Reply to my class mate. Need Assignment Help?
