History Gilded Age industrial capitalism:

During the Gilded Age industrial capitalism grew tremendously, concentrating power in the hands of corporations with the support of the government. Groups of Americans put forward alternatives, and sometimes, even outright challenges, to the nation’s capitalist democracy between 1880 and 1916. Give three examples of this and analyze the impact of each. Do not use the same type of example twice (i.e. you may use just one labor union or just one piece of legislation, and so on).
