1) A production process for parts made by a supplier have a historical defect rate of 1%. A sample of 20 parts is taken. What distribution should you use? Find the probability that 2 of the 20 parts selected are defective.

2) A box of 100 precision aircraft part is expected, from past experience, to have 15 bad parts. A sample of 10 parts is taken. What distribution should you use? Find the probability that 4 of the parts are bad.

3) A truck repair facility has room to work on 5 trucks at a time. The company has 50 trucks out in the field eah day. The probability of any truck breaking down is 10%. What is the likelihood that more trucks will break down than can be handled at once?
