Highlight the importance of using proven methods

Problem:

Nursing theories and ideas help us understand not just how nurses provide care, but also why they care for others with kindness and professionalism. This course has shown that these theories highlight the importance of using proven methods, focusing on the patient's needs, and treating the whole person, which helps nurses make better decisions in their work. My personal approach to nursing is based on the idea of serving others first and believing that nursing isn't just about treating physical illnesses. It also involves giving emotional support, speaking up for patients, educating them, and helping them take part in their own care. I am influenced by two key nursing theories: Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring, which focuses on the caring relationship between nurses and patients, and Dorothea Orem's Self-Care Deficit Nursing Theory, which emphasizes the importance of patients being able to care for themselves. I believe that nurses are crucial in helping patients in all aspects, physical, emotional, and educational, while encouraging their independence and overall health. In this paper, I will share my personal nursing philosophy, look at a theory that matches my beliefs, compare where the two views are similar and different, and discuss any conflicts that might arise between the theory and my own approach to caring for patients.
