hello i have been working with reptiles for a

Hello I have been working with reptiles for a while and have been researching the incubation method known as egg suspended. This method is used with birds. Its placeing an egg on a platform with some kind of suberate underneath it.
My question is about the gasses the embryo and the substrate gives off while incubating. We have found its better to evac these gases by simply put a small pin hole in the top of the container. This got me thinking about the substrate more. If there is an eco system underneith the plat form then the evaporation of the gases from the substrae cold cause a effects on the embryo ? This being the perfect enviorment for breeding bacteria due to incubation period being 30 to 180 days with not much oxygen exchange or enviorment changes. The temps between 80 to 90 degrees with just a pin hole in the top or the lid of the container. So is there such thing as haveing good evaperation to help the embryo ? Or does the egg have self sustaining attributes to where the enviorment does not matter?
Can you get a healthier embryo by have a more clean or a Eco-system around it ? Thank you for your time I know its a tuff question and I have been rearching and deveolping products baced off our results.
Final Question ???
Is there such thing as good evaporation and bad evaporation ? thank you again Sean
