Head north for the emergency landing

An airplane takes off from the only airstrip in a remote area of Canada, flies 69.0° north of east for 107 km, then turns and flies 75° west of north for 131 km. A fuel leak is discovered at this point, and the crew calculates that the plane can safely fly no more than 150 km before an emergency landing must be attempted. The only appropriate location for an emergency landing is 100 km north of their current position, though this still involves significant risk to the crew. Should they attempt to return to the airstrip, or head north for the emergency landing?
