a. Explain from a neural perspective how the patella reflex is initiated.

b. A friend has kicked a soccer ball to you, and you are watching the ball come to you and you wish to kick it back. From a neural perspective, how does this motion differ from the mechanism of the patella reflex? Please consider the pre and post central gyrus in your answer.
