Take a moment to view the video then answer the questions below.
i. Based on the video did you guess what drink he was requesting, before the barista figured it out? What were some of the non-verbal cues that led you to your conclusions?
ii. Obviously, its a bit of an exageration, but times in your life do you see hand gestures to be very evident in your life? Are there people you know that just seem to use their hands a lot when they speak?

I want you to view the first half of the video without any sound then watch the second video. Then answer the following questions.
i. Many of us have heard this song from Eminem. Whether you are a hip hop fan or not, listen to the beat and rhythm of the song. Now take a look back at the way the interpreter signs the song? What are some of the things that stand out visually?
ii. In this video, we see how standard sign language is enhanced. What are some of the enhancements that follow along with the words? Have you ever seen these enhancements in real life? Explain the situation and the people involved.
iii. Share an experience that you went through, or someone you know, where nonverbal cues were not very helpful. What happened? What could have been better? What was the lesson learned?
