Assume you are a police officer and have a warrant to arrest a parolee (on parole for robbery) for parole violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. You are now at the parolee's apartment. Do you need a warrant, assuming you have time to obtain one? Should you knock and announce before making an arrest? Defend your answer.
