Over the next week you are to research the impact of the marijuana laws on the states noted above. You are to choose only one. You are to look at it on basically a tax and revenue basis.
Since the implication of the law and the taxation of marijuana, has legalizing the substance benefited the people of the state or has it been a disaster?
You are to look at taxation and revenues raised there from and the costs of taxing the product. You are to look at additional costs, and saved costs. Who has benefited and who has been hurt? What have additional revenues been used for if they exist?
Has the legalization of marijuana overall benefitted or harmed the states noted. Should Georgia consider legalizing and taxing marijuana? Do you think there is any chance of it happening in say the next 100 years?
