Greenberger (2016) asserts that the content expert provides guidance and feedback on completion of the literature review for the dissertation. This class has influenced this researcher to choose a content expert who:
(1) is familiar with this researcher's methodology used;
(2) theoretical perspectives;
(3) research design; and the literature in regards to the topic.
This researcher has been taught the importance of choosing a content expert who is knowledgeable in those areas similar to the researcher's research. Furthermore, this course gave me insight into how important it is to have all portions of the prospectus aligned. Therefore, this researcher went back and updated the prospectus by aligning the problem statement with the purpose statement.
