Greek and Roman Architecture - Comparison and Contrast Discuss the similarities and differences in Greek Classical architecture and Roman architecture. What borrowings, adaptations, or modifications were made by Roman architects on the basic Greek architectural vocabulary? Reference at least 4 examples (must include the Parthenon) and specifically describe the distinctive characteristics of each of the buildings that are being compared. Include material s preference, and purposes / function of the building. Be sure to give the architect if known, name, title of the building, date made, and location.
