A lot of companies use a lot of best practices to guide their employees to a respectable position. One of the best practices example that I know is best suited and is followed is in GE. They mainly have a session every month where they have a get together and discuss about how to increase the growth or revenue.
What they do is that they mainly have a get together and then discuss about what do they think should be implemented in the company so that it is growing or what else does our clients need so that they remain with them. Thus is mainly like a feedback or a system where they mainly exploit the best things from all the employees and whatever they find it relevant to the organization, they mainly implement it. This is the way the company grows and a best implementation process is being made.
