given moisture contents of 5%, 9%, 14%, 22% and 25% with corresponding weights of 3.1, 3.42, 3.78,3.85, 3.77 lbs. of the compacted soil. (specific gravity =2.7)(compaction test using compaction mold of 1/30 ft^3). I found the dry unit weights and moist unit weights for each. I believe i have also accurately found max dry unit weight which was 99.5 lb/ft^3 and optimum moisture content, my question is : If the initial water content of the soil is 9% how many gallons of water per cubic yard should be added to the fill material to reach 100% maximum dry unit weight and optimum moisture content?
