Article 1
Topic: Discuss what the job of "carbon trader" is.

A carbon trade, also called emissions trade, is an exchange of credits among countries intended to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide. A carbon trader's job is to buy, sell, and trade carbon credits for client in the form of carbon permits or offsets within various carbon markets. For those who do not know the term carbon market, it can either be refer to the entire worldwide carbon industry or use to describe the dealings, interactions, and activities (usually business to business) within the carbon industry. Their duty is to help organizations and businesses source, select, and buy certified carbon credits from projects they can trust all around the world. An average salary for a carbon trader varies from $45,000 to $113,000, depending on the amount of experience a person has.

The European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) is the world's biggest carbon trading system. The EU makes great efforts to slow down climate change, and yet countries like China and Brazil continue to pursue carbon trading as a way to hold down rising emissions. In the drive to eliminate climate change, carbon trading has become the number one policy instrument to choose from among most governments, yet carbon trading still remains highly controversial. Could you help me understand why?

Article 2
Topic:Discuss opportunities for green jobs in Arizona.

As referenced in the article "Green Pathways", there are quality jobs that can be created through the economy. That particular piece defines a good job as a job that pays more than 10 dollars an hour and one that provides benefits such as health care. So what opportunities are there in Arizona for the green economy? Considering we live in the hottest state in America, it would make logical sense to promote solar energy. The best part about this too is there are jobs for all levels of educated people. A worker with a Master's degree or a PHD would be plenty qualified for a managerial position, a college or tech degree could become a solar technician or could install solar panels on rooftops. Even someone with a high school degree could be in sales, telemarketing, or phone service.

Another job that must flourish in our state is basically any promotion of eco-efficient automobiles. Whether that means providing biofuel at a gas pump, having technicians to help convert cars into alternative forms of fuel, or actually engineering and designing the cars, our urban sprawl requires this industry to grow before air pollution reaches an all time high. These are just two job ideas, but they could easily produce hundreds of opportunities for employment.
