Assignment 1:
Give your smoothie business a name. What's the meaning behind your name choice?
Using Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher, design a 1 page grand opening flyer.
What is your mission / values statement?
What will be your company's business strategy? What are your competitive plans?
Conduct an internal assessment using SWOT analysis. Be specific. What are the internal strengths/weaknesses and external opportunities and threats?
Create 5 inventive drink selections. What are the ingredients? What will be your price points for the beverages?
Create a brief job description (1-2 paragraphs) of what type of part-time employees you are looking for. What are their KSAs (knowledge, skills, and abilities)?
Sketch the company's organizational structure (org chart).
Using the ABC concept of inventory management what inventory items in your smoothie business will you identify as (A) very important, (B) moderately important, or (C) least important. Again, be specific.
Write a detailed analysis on the following:
How will you address customer complaints?
How will you deter employee theft?
