Problem
Martin is raising two children on his own during the COVID-19 pandemic. Martin works from home, and the public school his two children attend have switched to remote learning for the year due to pandemic. His youngest son, Francis, who is ten, has been "raiding" the kitchen pantry and eating cookies without permission. Martin is trying to change Francis' behavior so that he only eats cookies at designated snack times.
Give some advice to Martin as from the point of view of virtue ethics that might allow him to resolve this problem.
