Homework: Unifying Company Culture
Overview
Imagine you work for one of the following global companies, which has recently merged with a fictitious smaller, domestic company:
1) British Petroleum.
2) Coca-Cola.
3) Ecolab.
4) Exxon Mobil.
5) Hilton.
6) Marriott.
7) McDonald's.
8) McKesson.
9) Modelo.
10) PepsiCo.
You may choose another company with approval from your instructor.
Note: You will use this same company in all of your homeworks in this course.
Task
Create two company introductions and develop an 8 to 10 point checklist in which you:
1) Give a succinct overview of the global company.
2) Give a succinct overview of the fictitious domestic company your company has merged with.
3) Develop an 8-10 point checklist of steps you would take to unify company culture.
4) Explain your rationale for choosing each of the steps in your checklist.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
