Problem
Your responsibility for this will be to choose an article, any current article (preferably one of interest for you) and respond accordingly. You may find these in print media (newspaper, magazine, etc.) or online. You must include the source so I may cross-reference. Your response will be two paragraphs as follows:
• Paragraph I: Summarize the article. Give a full summary of what you read and who wrote it. Remember, a summary is put into your own words, so make sure you are properly understanding what you are reading.
• Paragraph II: Analyze the article. Choose an aspect of the article to go more in depth on. This can be analyzing the main idea, the theme, the author's technique, etc., you may choose any aspect you'd like. When analyzing be sure to make connections. Connect to and with the article in one of the following ways: Text-to-Text - compare it with another writing; Text-to-Self - show how what is discussed in the article connects to or impacts you; Text-to-Society - show how the main idea of the article connects to the outside world and what is impactful about the article.
