The "Internet of Things" (IoT) allows everyday "things" to generate and store data about their own performance and share that information across the Internet and this technology is expected to transform every industry. While such innovations may seem far off, in reality they are already here. By 2023, an estimated 21 billion IoT devices will be in our lives and companies need to be ready for the challenges these devices will create.
