Our text describes the four functions of the management as Planning, Organizing, Controlling and Leading. In brief put, the plan states the desired outcome or goal and process for accomplishing it. Control is the regulation of organizational activities and processes in such a manner as to facilitate goal accomplishment.
Suppose that you’re a manager of the business. Describe the type of business you’re managing (it can be any business you desire). Provide two examples of controls which you would implement in the business and how they could enables goal accomplishment.
