The Nimrod Report
From the internet search for "Nimrod Report" and read the Introduction and Executive Summary. This was a very serious event in RAF aviation and the result has been significant inquiry into the reasons why this unfortunate event happened. The Nimrod Report by Charles Haddon-Cave makes significant comment about personal, organisational and cross-organisational issues that (in his opinion) contributed to this event.
Examine the role that the various "players" had and, from your knowledge of Organisational Behaviour, highlight the key organisational behavioural issues that you believe were evident in the organisations and how they might have developed. You may choose to make observations as to why you think they were not addressed or addressed only superficially. What do you foresee as possible further consequences and outcomes of the "Review"?
