The fraction of defective products in two different processes is being studied in the factory. A random sample of 400 products from procedure A is tested, revealing 4 defective items. Another random saple of 500 products from process B is also tested, revealing 2 defective items. Based upon this data, can we conclude that two processes are significantly different upon their defect rates.
