Forum Discussion: "The Metamorphosis". What is the evidence in Section II that Gregor is losing touch with human emotions and perhaps undergoing a psychological metamorphosis, whereby his mentality is gradually approximating his insect physicality? If this is indeed the case, what accounts for it, since when he first metamorphosed his mentality was (at least I think) still human?
