Formulate a research question that will guide your research.

Define the null hypothesis and research hypothesis.

Explain the implications of committing type I and type II errors in your particular quantitative analysis.

Recommend the descriptive statistics that will be used in researching your public health problem. Justify your selections.

Recommend inferential statistics that best suit the null hypothesis. Justify your selections.

Analyse, interpret and report public data sets related to your selected public health problem. If no public data sets exist for your selected problem, use data pertaining to a similar public health problem and extrapolate how those data relate to your problem. Be sure to identify gaps and assumptions you make.

Explain how your choices of central tendency or dispersion methods alter your results.

Fully state and justify any choices or assumptions that you make using the suggested resources for this module as well as your own research. Include references to any sources you have used. All sources should be cited using Harvard Referencing Style.
