The legs of the wheel-barrow are 3 horizontal feet from the axle. If the wheelbarrow is unloaded, a force of 12 lbs. is applied to the handle 4 feet horizontally from the axle required to mount the legs from the ground.

a) When a 120 lb. soil is situated in the wheel-barrow with its center of gravity 1.5 ft. from the axle, what force is needed to mount the legs of the wheel-barrow?

b) When the soil is drop off so that the wheel-barrow is having an angle of 87o with the horizontal surface, a force 100 lbs is applied on the handles, where will the center of gravity be?
