1. For what reasons might some of the less prosperous regions of the UK find that they have even fewer 15-19 year old's than other areas during the 1990s? What problems might they face as a result?
2. Analyses the arguments for and against some-one who reaches the age of 18 in the year 2000 leaving school for a mechanical apprenticeship rather than going to university to read for a degree.
