On Chapter 1, pg. 48, She writes, “The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in its bid to prevent the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating carbon emissions, argued in a petition that in the event of global warming, ‘populations can acclimatize to warmer climates via a range of behavioral, physiological, and technological adaptations.’
