For this discussion id like everyone to reflect upon what

For this discussion, I'd like everyone to reflect upon what you have studied/learned about U.S. history over the course of this semester, and discuss this with your fellow students in response to the following statement. Take this discussion wherever you wish it to go, but include information from what you have learned this semester, and cite any sources that support your points. Give thought and reflection to the meaning of these words in the context of current events, and what role studying history plays in creating informed citizens. Your original post should consist of 2-4 full paragraphs (500 words minimum).

Respond to the following Statement:

It is imperative that citizens of the United States - the most powerful "democracy" in the world -- take seriously the responsibility of becoming "informed citizens". There is a big difference between being "spectators" &"consumers" in a democracy, and being "informed participants." If so many American citizens continue to be spectators & consumers, rather than informed participants, one may ask: "How "democratic" is the United States? And what does this mean for the future of our country, and for the rest of the world?"

I PASTED THE WHOLE ASSIGNMENT ON TOP SO PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS. HOWEVER, CAN YOU MAKE IT two ? BOTH WILL HAVE DIFFERENT IDEAS AND STYLE.
