For the purposes of this exercise, write a short essay summarizing at least one recent example you have seen in the marketplace where there is a clear effort by the marketer to "demographically segment" such as:
· Gender: the marketer may have come up with variations of their products devoted to serving a specific gender or may have altered their marketing campaign to appeal to the male or female segment.
· Age: An example of this might be that you noticed a bookstore releasing a new decade-specific book written about growing up in the 1980s has sent a promotion to customers born in the 1980s.
