For the New Deal, I am thinking of the period 1933-1938. For the liberalism of 1945-1975, I am thinking of the values and ideas of Cold War liberals and those shared by the Civil Rights Movement led by Martin Luther King Jr.; the New Left; the Women's Movement; and the Great Society-War on Poverty.
