(The Informative Report)
For Project 02, each student will produce a single Informative Document. An Informative Document provides Unbiased, factual, and reliable information about a topic or issue. For Project 02, each student is being asked to write a small encyclopedia entry covering a single topic. The major challenge of this type of document is to recognize the needs of the Audience and provide him or her with clear, concise, and reliable information. Instructions:
1. Each student will create a single encyclopedia entry.
Each Project 02 submission should meet the needs of an audience who would use and encyclopedia to obtain information about the subject matter.
2. Each student must select a NEW topic to write about.
Each student may choose any new topic he or she wishes to write about.
The subject of the document must not be something discussed in class or previously written about.
3. Each student must utilize a minimum of two secondary source materials.
Each of the two secondary sources must be used within the Informational document.
Each of the two secondary sources must be documented. o Documentation can be made within the document or can be added later as a works used section
Each student may use any source materials he or she feels is best for the informational document being produced.
4. Each student will be responsible for page design
Project 02 does not require adherence to a specific formatting style (MLA, APA, etc…).

Each student will be responsible for their own formatting. Project Information:
1. There is no template. The Formatting and Design of each Encyclopedia entry is the student’s decision. However, a portion of each information document’s overall grade is directly related to the level of “professionalism” accessibility of the submission.
