At the base of the track there is a 10.0- meter rough patch with coefficient of kinetic friction of 0.24 and length of 7.50 meters. Following the rough patch, the block slides on a frictionless surface until it compresses a spring coming to rest as the spring is fully compressed a distance of 0.2m.
