This course contains a written assignment that must be completed by students.
Part A is a report plan. You will be expected to show your research sources and a plan on how you expect to set out your report.
It will be a 1000 word report. In this case, you will be producing a report on Surfactants.
You will be expected to research surfactants. What is a surfactant? How is a surfactant formed? Show the chemical process for a common surfactant. What are some common uses of surfactants?
You will also look into common household surfactants. You will also discuss one or two industrial uses from the following:
- Mining and ore extraction
- Textile industry
- Food Industry
- Petroleum
Discuss the uses in these industries.
