First, briefly identify and explain the five key building blocks of choice. Then think about the last time you led a group (current or past). Try to be as objective as you can as you reflect on these questions. Do you trust your team members enough not to hover over them waiting for mistakes? Why or why not? What, if any, rules or controls could you eliminate to require fewer approvals before they act? Do some of your team members require a bit of a push to take on more responsibility? If so, how do you push your team members? When you face resistance, how do you handle this situation?
