Five equavalent particles of mass m = 0.30 kg are mounted at regular intervals on a thin rod of length = 1.09 m and mass M = 1.6 kg, with one mass at one end of the rod. If the system is rotated with angular velocity of 40 rev/min around an axis perpendicular to the rod via one of the end masses, find out the following.

(a) the kinetic energy of the system

(b) the angular momentum of the system
