The assay for Zinc is carried out by atomic absorption using method of addition. To 1.00 mL of every standard, 1/0 mL of sample is added. Standard concentrations are (ug/ml) 0.50, 1.00, 2.00. The given absorbance are produced for each of standard/specimen solution:
1.00 ml specimen, 1.00 ml 0.50 standard = 0.180 absorbance
1.00 ml specimen, 1.00 ml 1.00 standard = 0.240 absorbance
1.00 ml specimen, 1.00 ml 2.00 standard = 0..360 absorbance
