A piston-cylinder device contains V1 volume of air at P1 pressure and T1 temperature. The air is now compressed to V2 volume in such a way that the temperature inside the cylinder remains constant. Determine the work done during this process if air follows the ideal gas law relation PV=mRT. Show all work.
