Find true mean temperature difference for two-shell-pass

An oil cooler is used to cool lubrication oil from 70*C to 40* C. The colling water enters the exchanger at 15*C and leaves at 25* C. The specific heat capacities of the oil and water are 2 and 4.2 kJ/kgxK, respectively, and the oil flow rate is 4 kg/s.

a. Calocualte the water flow rate required.

B. Calculate the true mean temperature difference for two-shell-pass-and-four-tube passes and one-shell-pass-and-two-tube passes shell-and-tub heat exchangers and an unmixed-un-mixed crossflow configurationk, respectively.

c. find the effectiveness of the heat exchangers.
