It transfers 90% of the power to 2 lbm water in a kettle initially at 70 F, 1 atm; the remaining 10% leaks to the room air. The water at a uniform T is brought to the boiling point. At the start of the process, what is the rate of availability transfer by (a) electrical input, (b) from the heating element, and (c) into the water at Twater?
