Air enters the compressor of this cycle at 16 psia and 100 °F; the pressure ratio is 11; and the maximum cycle temperature is 1940 °F. What is the thermal efficiency of this cycle? Use constant specific heats at room temperature. What would the thermal efficiency of the cycle be without the regenerator?
