Calculate the volume and surface area of a right circular cylinder along with r = 3" and h = 4". 

Solution:

V =      πr²h                              SA = 2πrh   + 2πr²

V =      π(3)(3)(4)                     SA  = 2π(3)(4) + 2π(3)(3)

V =      π(36)                            SA  = 2π(12) + 2π(9)

V =      113.1 cubic inches       SA = 132 square inches
